Rachel Ammon, M.A., CCC-SLP 

Rachel Ammon is a certified speech-language pathologist through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed in the state of Michigan. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and her master’s degree from Northern Michigan University.

 

After 28 years as a public school SLP, Rachel retired to focus on providing compassionate, individualized pediatric speech therapy in a private practice setting. She is passionate about orofacial myofunctional therapy, helping children develop proper oral function, airway support, and communication skills. Rachel provides myofunctional therapy at both A to Z Speech Therapy in Brighton, MI and Blossom Pediatric Dentistry.

 

 

Outside of work, you can find Rachel boating and spending time on the lake with family and friends, or enjoying the company of her dogs, Luna and Lanie.


Alexis Ellis, M.A., CCC-SLP

Alexis Ellis is a certified speech-language pathologist through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed in the state of Michigan. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University, where her research was accepted for publication and presentation at the ASHA convention, and her master’s degree from Michigan State University.

 

Alexis has experience working with children from birth through 18 years old in both public school and outpatient settings. She provides individualized pediatric speech therapy, orofacial myofunctional therapy, and virtual therapy for school contracts, helping children achieve their communication goals in a variety of settings. She is a member of ASHA and the Michigan Speech-Language-Hearing Association (MSHA).

 

 

Outside of work, you can find Alexis walking around downtown Brighton with her husband and their dog Finn, spending time at the lake with family and friends, or gardening in her backyard.
